Artist Statement
As a landscape artist, I am inspired by nature's movements, which calm and energize me. My practice involves exploring various locations, capturing the ever-changing moments as trees fall, paths wear, and waterways shift. These experiences deepen my connection to the environment and inspire art that reflects the awe and wonder I see in the world.
My creative process is playful and intuitive, where color, shape, and line come together in harmony. I use layering techniques to capture the rich textures of landscapes, symbolizing elements that transform over time. Each piece tells a story of transformation, inviting viewers to reflect on the balance and movement within the world.
Through my art, I aim to express the beauty and resilience of nature, encouraging a greater appreciation for the ever-changing world around us. By showcasing the interplay between natural elements and the spaces they inhabit, I aim to inspire a deeper awareness and connection to our surroundings.
