Student Success
During a 6-week art enrichment collaboration with Learning Works Afterschool program students created art using the essential question, “How does an artist think and make?”. Utilizing the Studio Habits of Mind and student self reflection I created lessons that explored shapes in self-portrait drawings, printmaking, and interactive sculpture.
Students took a field trip to a MECA (Maine College of Art) Gallery to install their work.
Students hung their work, colored in signs for display, and created a video with the sculpture boxes they made.
